About the journal

Scientific magazine "Design. Materials. «Technology» was founded in 2006 in St. Petersburg State University of Technology and Design. The purpose of the magazine is enlightening modern domestic and international achievements, both in science and art. The scope of the issues the founders of the magazine includes acquaintance practitioners, faculty, graduate students, young researchers with research and development in technology and design. This magazine is intended to facilitate the integration of different areas of human activity such as engineering, technology and artistic creativity. The magazine covers a wide range of issues related to the design and implementation of high technologies in industrial production of decorative and applied art, restoration of art works and the training of professionals, capable of solving tasks as artistic and technological nature in the sphere of material production. The need for a journal associated with the need for integrated consideration of art designing objects and technological preparation of their production process, that will realize the full potential of fundamental and applied research, become an indispensable basis for their further development.

The journal is registered in the media certificate ПИ № ФС77-26186.

Since 2007 the magazine is included in the approved by the Higher Attestation Commission list of leading peer-reviewed scientific journals and publications, which should be published by the main scientific results of dissertations on competition of a scientific degree of doctor and candidate of Sciences.

The year 2015 magazine presented the international base of Ulrich's Serials Analysis System.

Revision accepts for publication articles graduate students, employees of universities, Scientific Research Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences, industry, containing new, previously unpublished results of scientific-research works, reviews the nature of the problem, based on the newest achievements in science, engineering and technology.
