Development of methodology for mathematical modeling and digital prediction of strain-restoration processes of polymer threads
DOI: 10.46418/0021-3489_2023_62_04_01
The article discusses the development of a methodology for mathematical modeling and forecasting of deformation-recovery processes of polymer threads. To increase the accuracy of the specified mathematical modeling and prediction of deformation-restoration processes, it is proposed to introduce a correction for the irreversible component of deformation, which corresponds to its plastic component. The introduction of the deformation reversibility coefficient into mathematical models of these processes makes it possible to clarify the predicted values of deformation and stress in deformation and deformation-recovery processes, which increases the accuracy of their prediction.

Designing a one-piece structure of a female garment of rational shapes and sizes for industrial production
DOI: 10.46418/0021-3489_2023_62_04_11
With the change in the ecological thinking of the population, simple, environmentally friendly, original designs of garments have become more relevant than ever. Ecodesign can be considered one of the directions for the development of production and design of modern women's clothing, the implementation of the principles of which creates conditions for increasing the efficiency of designed models. One-piece, low-waste designs of modern clothing, developed on the basis of shell forms that are freely fixed on the figure through draperies, are promising within the framework of ecodesign. Such structures can be obtained in various ways: by a simplified calculation of the sweep calculation or by means of constructive modeling. The article considers an example of a one-piece design of a long vest, a medium-length vest and a top that differ in length and materials. Depending on the plastic properties of the material, it is possible to obtain more rigid forms or soft falling ones. Industrial enterprises can, with a relatively simple reorientation of the design process and the organization of production, can expand their range of original products based on one-piece structures. For products of such designs, various groups of modern materials can be used, the properties of which can be used most rationally due to the absence of cuts. Depending on the crumbling (opening) of the material, the product can already be obtained as a result of cutting without technological processing or using low-operational production technology and standard equipment. The experimental work carried out by the authors is devoted to determining the rational dimensions of the part.

Impact of chemical reduction conditions using the Turkevich method on the properties of silver nanoparticles in cellulose/metal composite hydrogels
DOI: 10.46418/0021-3489_2023_62_04_17
This study focuses on utilizing hydrogels with concentrations ranging from 1% to 3%, obtained through the dissolution of cellulose powders from flax, wood, and cotton in DMAA/LiCl solutions and the following regeneration, as matrices for synthesizing silver nanoparticles via the Turkevich method, employing sodium citrate as a reducing agent. The investigation delves into the impact of molar ratios of silver ions to citrate ions (MR Ag/cit) on the content, size distribution, and antimicrobial effectiveness of silver nanoparticles within cellulose/silver composite hydrogels (CHGs). The outcomes elucidated that altering the MR Ag/cit ratio from 1:1 to 1:5 instigated the generation of smaller silver nanoparticles, spanning a range of 10–50 nm. Concurrently, a rise in silver content within CHGs correlated with higher sodium citrate concentrations. The maximum silver content (5.66%) was achieved in CHGs derived from cotton microcrystalline cellulose. Employing the XPS method, the study validated the presence of silver in a zero-valent chemical state within CHG, with the main Ag3d5/2 line exhibiting a binding energy of 368.59 eV. Cellulose hydrogels demonstrated an impressive water-holding capacity, spanning from 35.37 to 44.68 g/g. As cellulose concentration increased and silver nanoparticles were introduced, the water-retaining capacity of the hydrogels diminished. Furthermore, CHGs inhibited the growth of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus bacteria, yielding maximum growth inhibition zones of 13 and 14 cm, respectively. Notably, variations in MR Ag/cit across the studied range did not significantly impact the antibacterial activity of CHGs. The outcomes of this study suggest the potential utility of the resultant materials for wound dressings and various biomedical applications.

The distribution of the pile by the charge value and its effect on the flocking process
DOI: 10.46418/0021-3489_2023_62_04_22
The article is devoted to the technology of forming a pile coating by applying charged pile in a high voltage electric field, called electroflocking technology. In all existing models describing this technology, the charge of the villi is assumed to be the same. At a constant electric field tension the charge is determined by chemical treatment of the pile. It can be said with certainty that there is a distribution of villi according to the value of charge and the charging coefficient. Therefore, it is necessary to assess how the dispersion of such a distribution will affect the magnitude of the current density generated by the charged pile.

Problems of evaluation of frictional characteristics of plantar materials
DOI: 10.46418/0021-3489_2023_62_04_23
The paper summarizes scattered literature data on the coefficient of sliding friction of plantar materials on different support surfaces. It is revealed that many frictional characteristics of the same sliding friction pairs, presented in different literary sources, differ significantly. It is shown that these data discrepancies are due to the use of insufficiently sensitive means of measuring sliding friction forces, non-compliance with the temperature conditions of experimental studies, insufficient differentiation of the support surfaces by their degree of roughness, and plantar materials by their chemical nature, changes in the roughness of the support surfaces during repeated measurements. The requirements for conducting experimental determinations of the friction characteristics of plantar materials are formulated, which will allow obtaining reproducible measurement results, as well as correctly interpreting the known data presented in the literature.
